REQUIREMENTS
  • The following guide will root the Samsung Galaxy S6 when it is running the Android Nougat 7.0 update. Do not follow this guide if you have any other model number, or else the developer clearly states that your could very well end up bricking the device.

HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 G920I ON ANDROID

1-If your phone running marshmallow or newest android OS, you need to deactivate OEM option from setting/developer options/OEM unlock.


2-Download the CF-Auto-Root tool for the S6 on Android Nougat 7.0 from download area
3-Extract the rooting package to the desktop of the computer.
4-Double-click on the Odin executable file that is on the desktop.
5-Connect the Samsung Galaxy smartphone to the computer with the USB cable when you have it in the download mode (Vlume down+home+power buttons) a bleu screen shows up, Press volume up to enter download mode.

6-Check that you get a blue or yellow ID: COM port color coming from the Odin user interface which is there to let you know that your device is detected.

7-Click the AP button and browse the desktop for the rooting package.

Remarque: 
Some newest samsung phones require format after root process, After format don't forget to deactivte OEM option again, it's highly recommanded to do that before enter your Gmail ID.
