Important Things To Do Before Flashing Stock ROM

How To Install Stock Rom Multi languages Firmware For Your J7 2016 J710GN:

Step 1: Download the Odin software and firmware file from above.

Step 3: Extract the downloaded firmware file (in .zip format) now. You can use Winrar for this, then right click on firmware file and under winrar menu, select ‘Extract here’. You should get the a file in .tar.md5 format now. We will be loading this file into Odin, to be installed on device (in step 9 below)

Step 4: Extract the Odin file. You should get this file, Odin3 v3.12.3).

Step 5: Disconnect your Galaxy J7 6 from PC if it is connected.

Step 6: Boot Download Mode manually:
  • Power off your smartphone completely by holding Power button.
  • Next, press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons at the same time.
  • Release the buttons when the Warning alert screen is displayed on your phone.
  • Now, press Volume Up to load Galaxy J7 6 Download Mode.
  •  if you’ve changed your mind and you don’t want to boot Download Mode press Volume Down and your device will reboot in normal mode.
After you’re done using Download Mode and updating your phone you will see the device restarting. If you’ve changed your mind and you don’t want to use Download Mode anymore, then you can press the Power button for ten seconds in order to exit Download Mode. Every time your device gets stuck while you’re using it, you simply need to press and hold Power for 10 seconds and the J7 6 will reboot in normal mode.

Step 7: Double click on extracted file of Odin, Odin3 v3.12.3.exe, to open the Odin window.

Step 8: Connect your Sprint Galaxy J7 2016 now using USB cable. Odin should recognize your device. It’s a must. When it recognizes, you will see Added!! message appearing in the Log box in bottom left, and the first box under ID:COM will also be colored. and turn its background blue. If not, simply restart the Odin software and the device will be detected.

Step 9: Load the firmware file into Odin. Click the AP button on Odin and the select the .tar.md5 file from Step 3 above.

You need to know: simply wait until that’s done and the firmware file is loaded. Don’t worry if Odin gets unresponsive for a while, it’s normal. Binary size will also show up in Odin.

Step 10: Make sure Re-partition check box is NOT selected, under the Options tab. Don’t use PIT tab either. Go back to Log tab btw, it will show the progress when you hit start button in next step. Or simply don't change anysitting.

Step 11: Click the Start button on Odin now to start flashing the firmware on your Galaxy J7 2016.Wait till installation is finished, after which your device will reboot automatically. You’ll get PASS message as shown below upon successful installation from Odin.

Remarque: If you get FAIL in the top left box installing multi languages firmware on J7 2016 Marshmallow 6.0.1, you need to try flashing again, using the latest Stock firmware in downloads above. why I tell you that? Because maybe samsung will give a new security patch for that phone different from the security of given rom.

Step 12: First start of the device may take time, so wait patiently.
